A Stranorlar area councillor is urging people to be vigilant after reports that a van driver attempted to entice two girls into a red van in Drumkeen on Friday evening.
It’s reported that the van driver didn’t realise that the girls’ grandmother was with them, and challenged him.
He is described as being in his 60s, clean shaven wearing a black beanie cap. He was driving what’s been described as a red transporter type van.
An alert on the Drumkeen Newsletter Facebok page has been shared over 1,200 times.
