A record 800 competitors took part on Sunday in the Rundonegal charity women’s five-kilometre run.
It was won this morning by Finn Valley athlete Catriona Devine.
A spokesperson for the organisers said it was ran in mild conditions.
This year’s annual Rundonegal charity 5k, which is now in its fifth year, was held for Sharon’s Girls.
Young mum Sharon Alexander died in Donegal Hospice last November, just two years after her husband.
Sharon, from Drumkeen, had three teenage daughters, who are now orphaned.
The runners and walkers began the charity race to raise money for the family at 11am.
