Finn Harps FC have called on the public to get behind the club as they continue their Premier Division campaign following last season’s historic promotion achievement.
The club are keen to emphasise the importance of supporting fundraising initiatives & in particular the forthcoming draw for a Toyota Car & other prizes.
Harps have a huge challenge to raise sufficient revenue to cover costs including a 5 week period in June/July where there is no home games scheduled.
The first team also have two away games in a row to Cork City & Wexford Youths in April.
Finn Harps Chairman Sean Quinn says: “I think most people understood that there would have to be ongoing collective fundraising efforts to meet the increased costs which occur when competing in top flight football. It is critical that supporters & the public help us maximise the draw to help us cover expenditure in the 5 week summer period where we have no home games The commitment & professionalism of the management team & players has been first class and with backing of the county there is no reason why the club can’t go from strength to strength in the near future.”
