Government talks appear to have reached an impasse – with no further discussions of any sort scheduled as of now.
The Acting Taoiseach’s accused FIanna Fáíl of putting narrow party interests rather than the public interest after rejecting the offer of a equal partnership Government.
In a statement last evening, Enda Kenny described it as a serious mistake.
Micheál Martin says he couldn’t start negotiating a partnership when that wasn’t what the people had voted for.
However he did tell Enda Kenny he may be in a position to support a Fine Gael led minority Government.
