AXA Insurance confirms 80 new ‘roles’ at its centre in Derry

AXA insurance has announced that over eighty new roles will be created in its Derry Customer Contact Centre of Excellence on Springtown Business Park.
It follows February’s news that AXA Insurance had told its staff in Dublin city centre that their jobs were moving to Derry.
AXA says the new roles will service its customers throughout the Island of Ireland supporting the company’s customer service, claims and sales operations.
In February, a number of staff working for AXA in Dublin city centre were told their jobs are moving to Derry as it was ‘consolidating some of its operations in the interests of efficiency and customer service’
It is not clear how many of the company’s staff in Dublin took up the offer of a relocation to Derry.
AXA currently employs 200 staff in Derry and is looking to boost that by 80, the company says they are looking for enthusiastic and friendly people and are offering full training, flexible shift patterns and a competitive salary.
