Elsewhere Derry City have made the long trip south to face off with second place Cork City at Turners Cross.
Derry, who sit three points adrift of Cork, have injury concerns over Conor McCormack and Rory Patterson.
McCormack has a calk problem while Patterson is struggling with groin and hip flexor injuries.
In the nights other matches St Pat’s host Longford Town and Wexford Youths are at home to Shamrock Rovers.
