Donegal’s Chloe Magee and Sinead Jennings have had their places on the Irish Olympic team confirmed today by the Olympic Council of Ireland.
Letterkenny rower Jennings has qualified for her first games while Magee from Raphoe will take part in her third games in Badminton, becoming the counties most decorated Olympian.
She also competed in London 2012 and Beijing 2008.
Jennings will compete in the Lightweight Double Sculls with her partner Claire Lambe.
The pair were among the first 14 formally selected on the Ireland team for Rio 2016.
