Eamon McConigley spoke of his pride for Letterkenny Rovers who bowed out of the FAI Senior Cup on Tuesday night losing 1-0 to Athlone Town at Leckview Park.
The game was on course for penalties only for the SSE Airtrictiy First Division side to steal a winner three minutes from the end of extratime.
The results brings to an end a roller-coaster run of cup action in recent weeks which also seen them reach the Intermediate Final at the Aviva Stadeium
