It has been confirmed by Minister Simon Coveney that Donegal County Council will foot the bill for council homes which have been affected by the mica block issue.
The Minister has also confirmed that the expert panel will not be examining public buildings which include council houses as the government will not amend the terms of reference allowing them to do so.
Senator Padraig Mac Lochlainn sought for the amendment and says the Government will have to review its decision:
