Donegal and Monaghan will meet again this Saturday in the Ulster Championship Semi Final back at Breffni Park in Cavan.
Having been dropped to fourteen men when Martin McElhinney was sent off, Donegal scored the games only goal through Ordhan McNiallais but Monaghan scored two late points in injury time to force a second game.
Both camps will be assessing their plans today as to how get an edge that will give them an advantage in the replay.
Declan Bonner feels there’s plenty of positives to take into the game but says we will have to improve on discipline, scoring and around the middle of the park.
Declan was also impressed by the display of the Donegal minors in their semi final.
