Magees have Canadian semi finals in their sights

The Magee family return to court action later today at Badminton’s Canadian Open in Calgary.
In the mixed doubles Chloe and Sam take on an Australian pair, Sawan Serasinghe and Setyana Mapasa in the quarter finals.
They progress to the last eight with a comfortable 21-15 21-13 win on Thursday.
Sam and Joshua are also gunning for a place in the semi finals of the mens doubles later.
The number four seeds take on Richard Eidestedt and Nico Ruponen from Sweden.
They needed three sets on Thursday to reach the last eight against a Canadian pair, winning 27-25 19-21 21-19.
On the singles front, Chloe bowed out of the women’s section losing to the number one seed Michelle Li in straight sets.
