The organisers of the Letterkenny AC international meet have revealed their happiness at the success of the event.
Daragh McDaid of Letterkenny Athletics Club and his father Danny McDaid, a double Olympian, brought over 100 athletes – many of whom are going to the Olympics in Rio this summer – to the Danny McDaid track at the Aura Leisure Centre.
They told Sunday Sport presenter Myles Gallagher that it was a great opportunity for local athletics fans to see top performers in action on Saturday.
