Donegal badminton players perform well but lose out at US Open

The Magee family, from Raphoe, were knocked out of the US Open at the quarter-final stage on Friday.
Chloe was up against seventh seed Linda Zetchiri, from Bulgaria, in California yesterday.
She lost 22-20 and 21-12.
In the mixed doubles, Chloe and her brother Sam (pictured above) met the number four seeds from Australia, Robin Middleton and Leanne Choo.
The Raphoe siblings took the first set, but the seeded Aussies were too strong, winning 14-21, 21-18, 21-11.
Joshua and Sam lost in the first round of the men’s doubles on Wednesday.
