Mc Hugh pledges more aid to South Sudan refugees in Uganda

The Minister of State with responsibility for overseas aid has pledged 600-thousand euro in humanitarian funding for South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.
Minister Joe McHugh made the announcement today as he visited Uganda’s border region with South Sudan in the wake of a renewal of hostilities.
The announcement brings the total Irish Aid funding to South Sudan to more than 8 million euro so far this year.
