Donegal County Council is inviting submissions from members of the public on whether or not the basic rate of Local Property Tax in Donegal should be changed in 2017.
The council can either freeze the rate at this year’s level, or increase or decrease it by a maximum of 15%.
The Council’s Finance Director Garry Martin says each option has consequences, and the public’s views are important on this matter…………..
The deadline date for all submissions is the 19th August 2016 and submissions should be made in writing and emailed to LPT@donegalcoco.ie <mailto:LPT@donegalcoco.ie> or posted to Donegal County Council, LPT Submissions, County House, Lifford, Co. Donegal.
