A Councillor is calling for rumble strips to be put in place on roads leading into Carrigans in an effort to reduce the number of accidents.
Councillor Paul Canning says there is an accident on average once a fortnight on the access road to Carrigans with signs unlikely to slow traffic.
He says the criteria for rumble strips is three serious crashes occurring, he says that doesn’t make sense:
