Number of patients awaiting at LUH fell sharply in June, but rose again in July

Latest INMO trolly watch figures show there was a sharp fall in the numbers awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital in June.
There were 26 awaiting admission over the course of last month, compared to 105 in June 2015.
However, the INMO is highlighting a major increase nationally over the second week of July, which has been reflected in Letterkenny, with 39 this year, compared to eight during the second week of July last year.
This morning, there were six awaiting admission ; three on trolleys in the Emergency Department and three on the wards.
