It’s been confirmed that the expert panel established to investigate the mica block issue in Donegal will submit its report to Government by the end of the year.
However, Donegal Senator Pádraig Mac Lochlainn is reiterating his call on the Government to widen the terms of reference of the panel.
This would enable the panel to investigate the impact of defective blocks on both public and private buildings.
Senator MacLochlainn also says the Government must give families in Donegal the financial support they need as soon as possible:
