Man in hospital following early morning altercation

Gardaí in Letterkenny are continuing their investigations following an assault on Ramelton Rd.
The incident happened in the early hours of this morning at approximately 3am.
Gardai have confirmed that a male in his 20’s was taken to Letterkenny Hospital with injuries following an altercation with another male.
His injuries are described as serious but not life threatening.
The area was closed earlier today but has since re-opened.
