The least amount of legal split ups was recorded in Donegal, with 66 divorces or judicial separations per 100,000 people, followed by Longford and Leitrim.
Official figures show that County Carlow has the highest divorce and legal seraration rate in the country, with 150 divorces or judicial serarations per 100,000 people.
The second smallest county in Ireland has more marriage splits per head than any other.
