Chamberlain Street area of Derry sealed off following serious assault

PSNI in Foyle are investigating the report of an assault in the Chamberlain Street area of the city at around 3am this morning.
A man aged in his 50’s was taken to hospital with facial injuries following what Police have described as a serious assault.
The area is currently sealed off with crime scene investigations ongoing.
