Emergency services attend serious road traffic incident in Inishowen

Emergency services are at the scene of a serious road traffic incident tonight (Monday).
While gardai are not yet releasing full details of the incident, a section of the road from Carndonagh to Malin Town has been closed with local diversions in place.
The Rescue 118 helicopter was initially tasked to the scene to transport an injured person but was returned to base, there are no details of any other injuries.
The road is expected to remain closed overnight.
