8 people rescued off the Sligo coast

8 people have been rescued after their boat overturned off the coast of County Sligo.
One person has been taken to Hospital with serious injuries.
The alarm was raised shortly after 11 o’clock this morning when the boat got into difficulty off Aughris Head Enniscrone.
An RNLI lifeboat, which was conducting training in the area, went to their rescue.
One person was winched by the Rescue 118 Coastguard helicopter and flown to Sligo University Hospital.
The others were brought to Aughris Pier.
One other person also received medical treatment.
