Anger has been expressed following the vandalism of a Centenary display in the Racecourse Road area of Derry.
It is believed that the cost of the damage will amount to £2000.
Councillor Tony Hassan says he believes youths carried out the vandalism to the display which is part of the Shantallow Republican Monument.
