Donegal Deputy calls on the Government to target serious crime


A Donegal Deputy is calling on the Government to prioritise addressing serious crime instead of targeting an already vulnerable part of the population.
The call comes following the launch of the Social Protection Ministers latest anti-fraud drive.
Deputy Thomas Pringle has claimed that the campaign pays closer scrutiny of minor welfare fraud as opposed to other more severe cases.
He says with the country losing €2.5 billion a year in corporate crime, it could be better spent elsewhere:
