Ciaran Doherty adds European Gold to his masters medal collection

Ciaran Doherty will be returning to Donegal with a European Masters gold medal.
The Letterkenny AC man won the 3000m steeplechase at the European Masters Championships in Denmark on Monday.
He crossed the line in 9mins 34.60 seconds to take the win ahead of Great Britain’s Sullivan Smith and French man Paul Waroquier.
Two years ago Ciaran won silver at the World Championships and he also medaled at Eorld indoors and European’s in 2012.
