Doctors say drastic action’s needed to tackle Ireland’s out of control waiting lists.
It comes as almost half a million people are waiting for their first appointment with a consultant.
Figures released yesterday show almost 700 thousand people are currently waiting on treatment in a public hospital with over 16.5 thousand people awaiting treatment at Letterkenny University Hospital
