The partner of a garda whistleblower has told the Disclosures’ Tribunal she was asked intrusive and irrelevant questions when interviewed by gardai.
Marissa Simms gave a statement about Garda Keith Harrison’s behaviour at Letterkenny Garda Station in October 2013.
She’s told the Tribunal she made the statement during an ‘extremely bad’ time in their relationship.
Ms Simms says she was asked a series of probing questions about her partner that she wasn’t comfortable answering and she was confused and exhausted.
She says she was interviewed for over eight hours and only had one toilet break.
