There were 16 patients awaiting admission to Letterkenny University Hospital today.
4 people were on trolleys in the hospitals Emergency Department with a further 12 waiting on wards or in overflow areas.
Nationally, 389 people were waiting on a bed today with University Hospital Galway the most overcrowded.
