New school premises approved for Moville


It has been announced that a new school premises has been approved for Gaelscoil Cois Feabhail Moville.
The funding has been approved for the school which is currently housed at Moville GAA to relocate to the site at the old Boys’ School in the town.
The move will include a complete refurbishment of the new site and the addition of new classrooms, offices and other accommodation.
The school will receive funding for necessary works including two mainstream classrooms, the refurbishment of existing two classrooms, two SET rooms, Principal’s Office, Staff room and General Office, Store room and Staff/Disabled Shower.
Plans to relocate were previously put on hold following a fire which severely damaged the old Boys’ School building.
In welcoming the news, Government Chief Whip Minister Joe McHugh says this announcement ends a long campaign to replace the old Boys’ School:
