SIPTU members employed as drivers by the Inishowen Oil Company Ltd in Carndonagh will begin a strike at 8.30 a.m. on Wednesday next.
They say it’s in response to their employer’s refusal to accept an invitation by the Workplace Relations Commission to a conciliation conference in relation to a pay claim.
The workers will be maintaining a picket outside the premises every weekday and on Saturday.
The company has been contacted by Highland Radio for a response.
