An Inishowen Councillor is calling for money allocated to Ballyliffen under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme to be spent ahead of the Irish Open next year.
The main aim of the scheme is to support the revitalisation of towns and villages in order to increase their potential to support increased economic activity into the future.
Ballyliffen was awarded 100,000 in the latest round of funding.
Cllr Martin McDermott says it’s important for the village to look its best before May, therefore the Council need to press ahead with spending the money:
