UK International Trade Secretary – Trade deal must come before NI border settlement


The UK International Trade Secretary says the issues of the border with the North can’t be settled until there are talks on a post-Brexit trade deal.
EU commissioner Phil Hogan says Ireland may threaten to use its EU veto to prevent Brexit talks from moving on – because of the issues.
Politics professor Dr Matthew Goodwin says this goes against what Brussels is saying about Ireland:
