Man charged with robbery and public possession of offensive weapon

A 22 year old man is due to appear before Omagh Magistrates Court this morning charged with robbery and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
The charges are in connection with an armed robbery of commercial premises on Shipquay Street in Derry in November.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
