National Ambulance Service strike in Letterkenny

Staff employed by the National Ambulance Service in Letterkenny are to engage in industiral action today.
The scheduled industrial action follows what SIPTU claim is management’s failure to implement a Rights Commissioner recommendation that was agreed on two years ago.
Talks between the service and the union at the Workplace Relations Commission ended on Wednesday without agreement.
