LYIT win thrilling game in Galway

LYIT Basketball have won a thrilling game against Titans of Galway in the National League, in a game that had to go to overtime to separate the two sides.
It was a game that Titans led for the first half, being a point up at the end of the first quarter, and 5 points up at half-time.
LYIT then came back and were leading by 2 points at the end of the third, 58 v 56. LYIT looked to be on course for victory but a three pointer from Titans brought the game to overtime, in which LYIT were able to see off the Titans’ flurry and run out 100 v 96 winners.
