A West Tyrone MLA is urging Department of Health in the North to provide extra funding for GP Out of Hours services in Strabane.
It follows an announcement made by the Department that it is to invest an extra £3.9 million in GP services across Northern Ireland.
The Out of Hours service in Strabane has been greatly reduced in recent weeks due to a lack of funding.
MLA Daniel McCrossan says that now money is clearly available it’s vital that some of it goes to the town to restore what is an important service to the community there:
