There could be light at the end of the tunnel for a cinema complex in Donegal Town.
It’s after the developer behind the plans moved to confirm his intentions to submit another application for the project.
Last month, plans were rejected for the five-screen cinema along with public parking and a shop and restaurant. This resulted in thousands of people signing a petition in protest while hundreds also attended a public meeting.
Mayor of Donegal Town Pauric Kennedy says talks are ongoing but he remains positive that a solution can be found:
