26 patients awaiting admission at LUH

There were 26 patients awaiting admission at Letterkenny University Hospital this morning, eight of them on Emergency Department trolleys. That’s down nine on yesterday’s figure of 35.
Nationally, there were 677 people waiting for in patient beds this morning, the largest number, 54, at St Lukes Hospital in Kilkenny.
