Karen Bradley has been appointed as Northern Ireland Secretary.
She replaces James Brokenshire who resigned earlier today to undergo surgery for a lesion on his lung.
Mr Brokenshire says he hopes to make a full recovery in a number of weeks.
He says resigning was the right thing to do:
