A member of the Islands Committee has written to the Minister for Rural and Community Development calling for funding to be ring fenced for LIS ON Donegal’s islands.
Seamus Rogers says there are no monies available to improve non-county roads and the estimated cost of repairing roads on the islands is much higher due to their geographical location.
Mr Rogers is calling for a review of the current allocation process:
