The government is being urged to publish the long awaited C-FRAMS report into flood risk areas, and release funding for necessary mitigation works at the same time.
Cllr Gary Doherty told a meeting of Stranorlar Municipal District this week that if the Finn Valley suffers one more serious flooding incident along the lines of what happened in 2015, then businesses will go to the wall and homes will be abandoned.
Cllr Doherty says the report will determine how future works are prioritised, and people need to know where they stand:
