Donegal County Council is to consider setting up an emergency taskforce to examine and address deprivation in the Donegal Gaeltacht.
The Glenties Municipal District has been classed as one of the most deprived rural areas in Ireland in the Pobal Deprivation Index.
The Council say that given the concerning profile , such a taskforce may be needed.
