Donegal on alert for more snow today

 
Donegal and parts of the country are on alert for more snow today.
A status yellow warning for snow and ice is in place for Donegal, Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Leitrim with accumulations of up to 3 centimetres possible on higher ground.
There are reports of treacherous roads across the county this morning. In Meenaroy a car is currently off the road which has led to a backlog of traffic there.
Meanwhile it’s reported that Letterkenny to Lifford and Drumkeen to Letterkenny roads are particularly affected with black ice.
