There are fears that an elderly person will be seriously injured if necessary drainage works are not carried out at a Letterkenny housing estate.
Significant amounts of water are regularly running off the green area at Muckish Avenue in the town and lying directly outside people’s homes.
Cathaorileach of Donegal County Council Cllr. Gerry McMonagle says the problem is proving a serious health and safety risk to senior citizens in the area.
