The Dunfanaghy Text alert is hosting its first A.G.M later tonight to mark is one year milestone since being first established.
Guest speakers will be Vanessa Clarke from Muntir Na Tire Text Coordinator for the County and Sargent Paul Wallace crime prevention Officer while other members of An Garda Siochanna will also be in attendance.
The meeting is getting underway in Shebeen function room in the Oyster Bar at 8pm.
Chairperson Michael McClafferty says the scheme has been a huge success since it was first established and is encouraging more residents in the area to sign up:
