Tyrone dominated Ladies HEC Rising Stars

Seven north west players have been named on the Ladies HEC Rising Stars team after last weekend’s colleges finals in Dublin.
GFP Moynihan Cup champions St Marys University College Belfast provide five of the selection, with four of those chosen in the forwards, including Claire Canavan, daughter of former Tyrone player Peter.
Claire is joined by fellow Tyrone players Laura Kane, Caoileann Conway, Niamh McGirr, Roisin Devlin and Meabh McGleenan.
Derry’s Aoife McGough is also named in the full back line.
