Calls for postal votes system review before abortion referendum


There are renewed calls for a review of the postal votes system ahead of the abortion referendum on May 25th.
Donegal Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher says this archaic and outdated postal voting system is denying people a vote if they are abroad for holiday, pilgrimage or work related reasons during the voting period.
He says he will be calling on Minister Eoghan Murphy once again, to amend the legislation:
