Donegal County Council officials are being urged to do more to realise Raphoe’s potential as a tourist destination.
Speaking at a Stranorlar Municipal District mereting this week, Cllr Frank Mc Brearty said that if attractions such as the castle and the Beltony Stone Circle were in other areas, they would have far more visitors.
He questioned what he claimed is a lack of signage pointing towards Raphoe, particularly in terms of its status as a Heritage Town…………
