Derry City lost by 4 goals to 2 on Monday afternoon to Cork City at Turner’s Cross.
Cork had taken a 2-0 lead into half-time thanks to two goals from Karl Sheppard, but Ronan Curtis and Ronan Hale scored to bring Derry back on level terms on 65′ and 69′.
Kieran Sadlier and Graham Cummins scored on 71′ and 82′ to put the tie to bed, and hand Derry their third loss in a row.
